Summary:
Bring the good news to others in Asia who may not have the chance to hear the gospel, and minister to those in need.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Team I/C
- Monitor the well-being of each member.
- Ensure all members are accounted for from point A to point B. (Pairing team members will be helpful in ensuring no one is left behind)
- Give immediate aid to arbitrate misunderstanding between members. Update Pastor/staff as soon as possible.
- Help Pastor/staff to relay information and to provide feedback if there’s any issues.
- Constantly remind members of next meeting time and gathering point.
- Pray for anyone unwell and update the pastor/staff.
- At the service/prayer meeting, monitor members attire, (if inappropriate) gently and gingerly talk to the members privately.
- To conduct team debrief every night
Worship Leader
- To lead the worship session as assigned. Help ensure room is setup and ready.
- Be early if not at least punctual.
Choose songs way ahead, and forward lyrics to Team I/C for dissemination. - Coordinate with musicians and the person doing devotion.
- Be in a state of spiritual readiness and lead people into a time of worship and prayer.
Devotion Leader
- Keep the sharing to the time allocated.
- Check with Pastor/staff if there’s any announcements.
- Share topics which are relevant for the Mission trips.
- Do not use the time to embarrass, raise complains or to raise controversial doctrines.
- Get members to share blessings or something inspiring the day or event before.
Event Leader
- Ensure that members of each event are briefed.
- All preparation should be done before the event (not at the event)
Be flexible, expect time change, weather change, venue change etc. - Strive for love and unity amongst all members.
- Take pictures and videos and forward to library (person will be assigned).
Bus/Van I/C
- Ensure all pax be accounted for.
- Ensure there’s adequate bottles of drinking water in the van. Remind members to be sufficiently hydrated.
- Plan stops as needed for emergency bathroom breaks or for those experiencing travel sickness.
- Always remind passengers to remember the vehicle numbers.
- Remind all to gather at the meeting point and time.
- Ensure no personal belongings are left behind or bags etc are left on the sidewalk unattended.
- Count the number of members from point A to point B.
- Always remind members the details of the next – place and time.
- Do not tip the drivers.
Selection Criteria
- Commitment:
Must be attending LE for at least 6 months. - Relational Skill:
- Possessed a humble and responsible attitude.
- Have love and compassion to minister to the needy.
- Able to communicate with the staff and team members.
- Team Player:
- Work & collaborate well with the team members.
- Submissive and teachable.
- Training:
Committed to attend all related training to enhance their knowledge and skill.
