Summary:
Take photos for Weekly Testifiers, Special events, and other required occasions.
To capture high-quality photos of church events, activities, and moments that showcase the life and ministry of the church.
To provide visual content for church communications, including social media, website, and print materials.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Take photos as per briefed for various events and occasions
- Edit the photos and upload them into the appointed Google Drive folder
- Attend and photograph church events, services, and activities as assigned.
- Take candid and posed photos of congregation members, staff, and volunteers.
- Edit and enhance photos as needed.
- Provide photos to the Communications Team for use in church publications and social media.
Maintain a photo archive for the church. - Collaborate with the Communications Team to develop a visual brand and style for the church.”
Selection Criteria
- Faith and Commitment
Demonstrates a strong personal faith and alignment with church values and mission. - Photography Skills and Experience
Proficiency with photography equipment and photo-editing (e.g., DSLR cameras). Preferably owns a DSLR or equivalent camera - Reliability and Availability
Consistent and dependable, with a willingness to commit to scheduled services and events. Available to serve at Sunday Services or special events at either/both LET or LEW - Professionalism and Discretion
Maintains a high level of professionalism and respect during church services and events. - Creativity and Vision
Ability to capture the essence and spirit of church events through creative and thoughtful photography. - Interpersonal Skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with church staff and volunteers. - Technical Knowledge
Understanding of technical aspects of photography, including exposure, focus, and post-processing.
Familiarity with Google drive, file management, and sharing of photographs. - Ethical Standards
Commitment to using photographs in a manner that respects individuals and the church community. - Adaptability
Ability to adapt to different environments and lighting conditions, whether indoors or outdoors. Willingness to learn and improve skills through feedback and ongoing training.
