Like Josiah, our concern must always be for God and His desire. We must seek to bring about the best attitude of people toward God. May the word of Paul in Philippians 2:3-4 shape our attitude towards God and one another. May it be that we will “Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.”

What is truth? The above question was asked by Pilate as he was standing before Jesus. This same question is being asked by many today. We are at a time when “absolute truth” is being redefined into a new perceived reality. Man has been positioning himself as the world’s arbiter between right and wrong.

For our Light to shine to others, it must first be shining within us. Do we welcome the Light of God to probe our inner man? The more we embrace the Light, the greater revelation we will have of our own internalized darkness. How do we respond when presented with this internal conflict?

Think of the time when somebody did an act of service for you which made a lasting impact on you – What was the reason that it was so impactful? Possibly you were impacted because it was a genuine gesture of love and sacrifice.

King Josiah came to the throne in Judah when he was only eight years old, and he began seriously seeking God just eight years into his reign when he was still a youth. This tells us that age is not an issue when seeking to serve God and we can never be too young for God to use.

The days before us are going to be both dark and glorious (Isaiah 60:1-5). In order for us to know the end game, we must be filled with the Word of God. It’s time that we, as Christians, allow our vision to be lifted higher so that we can see all things from God’s perspective.

Thanksgiving is one of the most neglected spiritual disciplines among Christians today. Yet there are many parts of the Bible that instruct us to give thanks. By doing so, you are growing in faith and learning to please God. Give thanks in all circumstances!

Our life is our message, and we must make a daily effort to surrender our lives back to God – re-dedicating ourselves in an allegiance towards our True and Living God. Nothing else matters more.

How many of the promises of God are we accustomed to? Hear what God is saying to us through 2 Peter 1:3-4. “…His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these, He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature….”

In the beginning the enemy was able to divide a family. In the end we see a time when families will be reunited and restored.
