The Personal Assistant to the Senior Pastor is responsible for providing administrative support to the Senior Pastor, including management of the Office of the Senior Pastor, scheduling, and coordination of administrative support on an executive level. This individual will be a key member of the Office of the Senior Pastor and will be dedicated to supporting the mission and vision of the Senior Pastor and Lighthouse Evangelism Church.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate and support all matters regarding the Senior Pastor, so to ensure effective planning and implementation of weekly services
- Plan, arrange, and coordinate meetings and events for Senior Pastor
- Take initiative on new and special projects to support Senior Pastor
- Initiate, edit, and manage all correspondences to ensure a smooth flow of communication for the Office of the Senior Pastor
- Review all correspondences for procedural and grammatical accuracy
- Manage the calendar for the Senior Pastor as the primary contact person for meetings and other scheduled commitments
- Make travel arrangements and coordinate speaking engagement logistics as needed
- Assist with the development of an annual work plan and manage the budget for the Senior Pastor Office
- Be the point of contact for special guests and dignitaries for church events
- Provide administrative support to the Special Advisor to Senior Pastor.
- Work alongside the Executive Assistant to Senior Pastor
- Run errands on behalf of the Senior Pastor
- Perform any other general duties as and when assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Executive Secretary, Administration Management, or equivalent
- At least 5 years of working experience in a related field
- Must be a stable and mature Christian with strong leadership qualities, as well as possess working experience in supporting executive leaders in a large organization, and in liaising with other executive assistants
- Able to work with minimal direction – Be proactive, resourceful, and to employ excellent judgment and professionalism at all times
- Has proven ability to maintain confidentiality and to be trustworthy
- Possesses strong attention to detail and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Possesses excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well individually and in a team, with a positive attitude
- Possesses excellent interpersonal relations, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Able to work on weekends and be involved in our church services (5-day work week)
