The Administrative and Membership Manager will oversee the church ministry administration, membership and office administration to support church revival.
RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Oversee the Administration and Membership Department to ensure that processes relating to the ministry administrative, membership and office administration functions are effective and efficient (includes oversight of the day-to-day enquiries, membership administration to church database management).
- Ensure seamless and all-encompassing follow-up with the end goal of Lighters/visitors fruitfully engaged and connected in our church community.
- Generate monthly membership, church wide attendance reports and statistics for management
- Review, evaluate, formulate, redesign and implement policies, procedures and processes to ensure a consistent and seamless administration across the church.
- Collaborate, coordinate and partner other departments and ministries to achieve governance and operational efficiency and ensure compliance to church policies.
- Coach, guide and supervise subordinates to ensure timely and competent execution of responsibilities.
- Provide administration support to associated events (e.g. Baptism, Church camps) and programs of other departments and ministries (where applicable).
- Organize and manage projects independently and competently from conceptualisation, planning to execution.
- Lead and conduct departmental and project meetings regularly to manage, review and track progress of projects and tasks assigned.
- Support and assist with special projects (where applicable) and any other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Administrative Management,
- Mass Communications or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- An effective communicator, able to communicate across different constituents (culture across social-economic status)
- At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Able to think strategically and implement effectively, paying attention to the big picture; meanwhile able to focus on details and accuracy where required.
- Knowledge of best practice in Office Administration procedures and Personal Data Protection Act.
- Familiar with various IT applications that support office management.
- Able to work on weekends and be involved in our church services. (5-day work week)
