Blazelight Encounter Night | Feb 2026

Last month’s Blazelight Encounter night was an amazing night of worship, fellowship and encouragement! God set light to embers of pioneering spirits as Pastor Derek shed light on the life of Paul and what it means to be a pioneering spirit like the apostle.

“The Christian life is one of progress, growth, influence and impact.”

In nature, we see pioneering species that thrive in disturbed environments! They pave the way for more life to grow. Likewise, Paul paved the way for Christianity to reach Rome and the world. Despite snake bites and shipwrecks, through Christ, he lived out the wise words of lyricist Taylor Swift — Shake it off!

And every act of obedience is like the ingredients in making a cookie! On its own, some may taste good and some unpleasant. But what matters is that it all comes together and a life of obedience to God comes together, to satisfy the hungry, offering comfort, and sustaining everyone they reach, shining the light of Christ.
