The Worship Coordinator must be spiritually matured, vibrant, and has a deep love for Jesus Christ. He/she is both passionate about and gifted in leading people in worshiping and serving God.
The Worship and Music Coordinator reports directly to the Team Lead (Worship).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Liaise and coordinate with the worship team on the Worship requirements/orders for weekend services and any other major services as assigned.
- Facilitate the organizing of meetings and rehearsals and communicate vital information to the relevant stakeholders.
- Assist the Team lead to oversee all the rehearsals for Praise & Worship sets in preparation for Sunday’s live services, Miracle Service Live and Miracle Service Recordings.
- Ensure smooth execution and operations of the Service.
- Manage church music resources (music library, and musical instruments.
- Recruit and train music ministry members.
- Support the church in all her pursuits towards the vision and mission.
- Serving, or supporting the Church’s ministries and their associated activities in addition to the departmental responsibilities.
- Attending and participating actively in staff-wide and church-wide activities such as Vision Progress Meeting, Staff retreat, special church service(s), etc.
- Assist Worship Pastor where necessary and perform any other general duties when assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in any discipline with at least 4 years of working experience.
- Proficient in singing, with a strong musical background, and adeptly skilled in playing at least one musical instrument.
- Strong administration and coordination skills.
- A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
- Able to work on weekends and be involved in our church services. (5-day work week)
