The Personal Assistant to the Senior Pastor provides high-level personal, administrative and executive support to enable the Senior Pastor to focus effectively on pastoral leadership, ministry and the mission of Lighthouse Evangelism.
The role coordinates closely with the Senior Pastor’s Office (SPO) Team, pastors, ministry leaders, staff and external parties, and requires maturity, discretion, confidentiality, initiative and a servant-hearted approach.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide personal and executive assistance to the Senior Pastor, anticipating needs and following through on priorities and commitments.
- Manage the Senior Pastor’s calendar, appointments, meetings, ministry engagements and key commitments.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare relevant materials and follow up on action items as required.
- Draft, review and coordinate correspondence and communications for the SPO.
- Coordinate logistics for worship services, church events, ministry engagements and speaking assignments.
- Arrange travel, itineraries, accommodation and transportation for ministry and official engagements.
- Coordinate hospitality and arrangements for visiting ministers, special guests and key external stakeholders.
- Maintain confidential records and provide administrative support for the SPO, including budget and work-plan coordination where required.
- Liaise with the SPO Team, pastors, ministry leaders, staff and external parties on matters relating to the Senior Pastor.
- Provide administrative support to the Strategy and Admin Pastor, where required.
- Undertake reasonable personal assistance, special projects and other duties assigned in support of the Senior Pastor’s ministry and official responsibilities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree holder preferred, preferably in Business Administration, Management, Communications or a related discipline; relevant Ministry or Theology studies would be an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or in a similar role supporting senior leaders.
- A stable and mature Christian who is aligned with the mission, vision and values of Lighthouse Evangelism and demonstrates a servant-hearted approach to ministry.
- High level of discretion, confidentiality, sound judgement, professionalism and integrity.
- Strong organisational, time-management and interpersonal skills; proactive, resourceful and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin would be an advantage.
- Strong administration, event management and strategic planning skills, with the ability to coordinate church and ministry priorities effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, calendar management tools, Canva and relevant AI productivity tools.
- Able and willing to support weekend church services, ministry activities and events when required.
