| Miraculous Healing Over Chronic Mouth And Throat Ulcers Of 15 Years |

For 15 years, Charles Ying suffered from chronic ulcers. Clusters of four to five ulcers would break out in his mouth and throat at regular intervals. Doctors diagnosed his immune system to be weaker than normal people and thus more susceptible to having ulcers. As a result, there was no permanent cure and he could only depend on medication to alleviate his condition.
The ulcers which could measure up to 2 cm in diameter inflicted extreme pain, especially during mealtime. The prelude to eating involved a torturous process of rubbing salt onto the ulcers until his senses became momentarily numb. Only then would he be able to gobble down his food. His monthly medical bill of more than $300 also stretched his resources to the limit.
In September 1995, his sister, Gladys, shared with him how God had miraculously healed her of piles at the Miracle Service and persuaded him to come to Lighthouse Evangelism. Charles was reluctant as he was from another church. However, after much coaxing, he relented.
He met Senior Pastor Rony Tan who prayed over him. As he did not experience any apparent improvement, he felt demoralized. Thus, when Charles was invited to attend a prayer meeting in the Sanctuary that night, he began to offer excuses and plan his exit.
On his way out to the car park, something extraordinary happened! Charles' legs suddenly went limp. His face flushed and he felt as if his whole body was burning like hot coal. Even after resting for ten minutes, he was still unable to move. That was when Charles realized that God had purposed him to attend the prayer meeting. With the help of Gladys and a few Lighters, he made his way to the Sanctuary. That night, Charles could not stop thanking God for the supernatural encounter and by faith, he claimed total healing over his condition.
Progressively, the ulcers in his mouth and throat receded. Within just a few weeks, Charles was completely healed of the chronic ulcers that had plagued him for 15 long years. Praise the Lord!
